Interview
I let them know I was available the entire week and could schedule around whenever they are available. They asked me to pick the time.
The interviewer didn't reply to me until 15 minutes after the agreed upon time, had not prepared for the interview, was not communicating that they had connection issues, and was visibly very distracted from things going on in their home. They started talking with someone off camera while I was attempting to answer their questions. I had to ask if we could reschedule to a time when I could have her full attention.
I waited in the second zoom meeting for over 20 minutes before thanking them for their time and expressing that I do not think I am a good fit for this company.
Family emergencies happen. I understand that working from home and the current situation is really challenging, but there was no reason for me to have to prepare for an interview twice in one day, and that doesn't leave a good impression of what it might be like to work for this company.
