I applied for an Account Executive position through LinkedIn. The same day, a recruiter from the company invited me to conduct an in-person interview that week. When I got to the building, I realized that this was not the company's office but a shared space that several different companies use to conduct interviews. I sat in a waiting room full of people until a recruiter met with me. The entire interview was less than 10 minutes. She asked me a couple of very basic questions and then told me they have a bunch of candidates to consider so they will let me know if I have been selected for next-round interviews that evening. I got a call later that evening and was congratulated for being one of the few applicants selected for the next round (I later found out this was not true, they will hire anyone) and we scheduled a follow up interview for the next day. This time, it was a group interview that took place in a deli down the block from the first interview. In a nutshell, Bounce makes their money by having their employees sell phones on the street. Your salary is 100% commission based on how many phones you sell. It sounded like a pyramid scheme but apparently is legal. I would not recommend going through with this process unless you are comfortable with a 100% commission-based salary.
