Interviewers were very discriminatory. Poor communication within organisation. I went for interview all the way from east to west for the interview after doing an initial zoom interview, indicating that I'm looking for part-time internship. After going there, they said they want a full-time intern. They don't even know someone even interviewed me from their organisation. It very ironic how they treated me, especially coming from a mental health organisation. As someone with various peer support experience, this is the most discrimination I have felt in anywhere. All the other MH organisations I have worked/volunteered with are so welcoming regardless of our background. The interviewers were asking me things like "so you picked this course (slightly different from job scope) just so you can get more money?" and after saying i'm from the east they were like "oh, what a pity". The last one that really got me off guard was "you can try "this" organisation (refering to my race and religion) instead as you have to wear uniform here in a very cold tone. I did not even say I'm opposed to wearing uniform in the first place. I got super annoyed, this is the worst interview I have attended in my life.
