I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Buffalo Exchange in Jun 2024
Interview
A few rounds where you rate clothes, pick a few items you’d buy for them and explain why. The questions were simple, I don’t understand why there were so many rounds for a barely above minimum wage job
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What brands do you like? How do you stay up to date with trends? What are your predictions for next season?
I applied online. I interviewed at Buffalo Exchange (Haight, CA) in May 2026
Interview
The people at Buffalo are really nice and cool, the interview went smoothly and they explained everything well. They asked mostly about what brands I like. During the interview, they also talked about love for fashion and trends.

Question 1
They asked me to pick 5 things that would sell quick or slow.
3 rounds. 1st round you are assigned a rack in the store and have to select 6 items, 3 you think will move fast and 3 you think won't. 2nd is a standard interview. 3rd is a reference check and a pricing quiz.
easy, very average interviews but had to do 3 rounds of interviews which was time consuming and seemed like overkill for the job and unnecessary but what ever. managers were super nice and I liked their company mission
