My CV has passed the company's requirements and without having an interview I've been invited to a group activity with 7 other people. Apparently we were chosen out of 400 people. The first task was to introduce ourselves in two minutes. Second task was to choose who you would save if someone bombarded the city. Out of 12 people we could only save 6. This was a very weird task and don't really see how it fits the communication role. The third task was to create an event of theirs. With budgeting, logistics and communication strategy within 45 minutes. Prior to the task the said that if we share good ideas they will use it.
During these 2 hours I felt like in The Apprentice show, fighting to get role and come up with ideas to stand out of the crowd. Two weeks later I got the exact same message as the first one, saying that there were 400 applicants and unfortunately I wasn't chosen to the second round. The exact same message but at first time I was accepted to the second round. It should have said that out of that 8 people they chose someone else. So this all seems very shady, especially now that I checked and they still have the position posted on their website and seems from their profile that they didn't hire any of us, even though there were many competent applicants.
