The first interview was a coding exercise on some platform, which was quite easy. After that was done got the call for the technical interview. Some reasonable questions, but some questions, I felt like it needed google search(or chat gpt) allowed. I understand that they are trying to check the knowledge of the interviewee, but the questions were very specific and no way I would know it off the top of my head or implement anything without doing the research for it.
Talking about the vibes, as soon as I gave a wrong answer to one question, that is half right - half wrong, after answering a bunch correctly, faces turned as if I was a failure, one positive is I knew that this interview is not going to lead to the next stage.
If they want that specific of answers, then they should hire an AI. All knowing and all updated, but mostly wrong and jargon without human intervention.
