BusinessForward interview questions

First round interview was via phone and went very well. The HR lady was a fairly recent hire herself and seemed very upbeat and personable. Second round interview was in person. I thought foolishly that being 15 minutes early was a good thing and apparently that was truly appalling and set off the interviewer. Never in my life have I EVER heard of being 15 minutes early to an interview as being an 'issue.' The guy that interviewed me asked pretty vague or generalized questions (not that unusual for most interviews). I answered his questions and inputted some degree of detail but not overwhelmingly so, just enough details to answer the questions and get the point across... as the interview was for only 1 hour which they had to stick to that time allotment and if I had gone into OCD details... the interview would've never ended. Based on the feedback I got after the fact... apparently my 15 minutes early was a big problem for him AND he wanted me to give super fine-grained detailed answers to his generalized questions within the various companies and positions I held.... did I mention that had a firm 1 hour max time frame that THEY set?! Lastly, I only got maybe 5 minutes worth of time to ask any questions that I had.. ya'know for MY part of the interview where I typically interview THEM. I got maybe 2-3 questions in at best before I was bum-rushed out of there. Here are some free-TIPS: Do NOT set up an in-person interview for a time that truly doesn't work for you. EXPECT that the person that's coming in to interview will be AT LEAST 15 minutes early... so I don't know.. maybe be at the office BEFORE the time setup for the interview. Example: Interview time at 10AM, maybe be there at 9am or 9:30am? Just an idea. Another tip, if you aren't understanding an answer that's being given... ask them to give more details (BE SPECIFIC - example: you mentioned you implemented X software and it went well... could you explain what made it go well and why?). Last tip which is actually a question.... for a consulting firm... why on Earth are you having staffing companies find you talent? You're a consulting firm... staffing companies are essentially consulting firms that find their clients people that fit their business/company needs... an entire massive part of your business talks on that... why can't you find your own talent yourself? Why in the world would you outsource that to staffing companies to do that for you? Odd.
