I recently went through the recruitment process for a full stack lead position and was offered the job after two rounds of interviews. I was excited to start my new role on March 6th and had already resigned from my previous job. However, just a few days before my joining date, the company called me to inform me that they wanted to delay my start date due to their client not providing a project start date. I explained to them that this would result in a big financial loss for me, but they were unwilling to understand or compensate me for the loss. I find this behavior unprofessional and irresponsible, especially since I had already committed to leaving my previous job. I believe that a company's treatment of its employees reflects its values, and unfortunately, my experience with this company has been disappointing. I urge anyone considering working with them to think twice before making any commitments.
