COPE Community Services interview questions

There were over 7-8 people in the waiting area patiently waiting to be interviewed. When it was my turn, the interview was short. I was dismissed because the interviewer had asked about my age since I was a recent college graduate and told me I was too young. I thought asking about my age was inappropriate? They also told me that it was a stressful job and that I would be using my vacation time as personal mental health days because it was too big of a burden.
