HR conducted an initial profiling calling before inviting me for interviews.
The first interview with the hiring manager felt positive, and I genuinely felt I was a good fit for the role. However, the second interview with upper management felt more like an interrogation than an evaluation.
I was asked very detailed personal questions, including information about my siblings, which felt unnecessary and repetitive, as much of it had already been covered earlier. It felt like I had to go through the same personal background process twice, which made me feel uncomfortable.
I believe a more effective approach would have been a presentation or a work based assessment to evaluate my capabilities. I also actually lowered my salary expectations despite knowing the role was within their stated budget, but it was still on higher side for them.
