I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Calfrac Well Services (Denver, CO) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was hired at the tail end of the pandemic. A zoom interview was conducted first and then an in person interview. The zoom meeting discussed past work history, why I want to work here with some technical (but easy) questions. The in person interview expanded on what was discussed in the zoom meeting and went into detail about the work and the type of person they were seeking to ensure we were a good match for each other.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Calfrac Well Services (Grande Prairie, AB) in Jun 2015
Interview
I had one interview with the head recruiter then was invited back for a second interview later that day with both the recruiter and a frac supervisor. Interview lasted about 20 mins and was pretty casual. I had several years of experience in the oilpatch as a service rig hand and knew quite a bit about fracking and well servicing. I also had my class 1 drivers licence and spotless drivers abstract with me which was clearly a benefit. I was offered the job the next day.
