The process itself was fine: recruiter was responsive, and the technical screening was well-structured and relevant to the role. No complaints there. The issue: the role has specific platform requirements that were not mentioned in the job posting or by the recruiter during the early stages. If you're a specialist, you'll only find this out after investing time in the process, and it will be the reason it doesn't move forward. Bottom line: ask explicitly in your first call what kind of profile they're actually looking for. Would have saved both sides a lot of time.

Cofounder showed up 10 minutes late to 25m interview - clearly multitasking while doing other things. Rebuffed benign small talk. Repeated same questions from recruiter screen. Asked for questions, responded in single words or jargon - clearly had already decided going into the interview. Ended interview 10 minutes early.
