I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Sep 2019
Interview
I had a really quick turnover for my interview process. Had an initial screening call with a recruiter and was offered an in person interview the following week! The in person "power day" included a job fit, a behavioral, a qualitative and a qualitative case. I was offered the position about a week later.

Question 1
In the qualitative case I was shown two different examples of credit card transaction user interfaces. One was a lot more clear to understand for the user in the event of a fraudulent purchase. I was essentially asked to explain why and was prompted further with additional questions as to why this was better for both the user and for Capital One.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2021
Interview
After a brief (30 min) phone screen with the recruiter, you'll have an interview super day with 3 interviews: behavioral, job fit, and case.
Behavioral is standard. Job fit is about your interest and background in tech. The case interview is essentially an open-ended math problem in a business context. They send quite a few videos and guides to help prep.

Q: Tell me about a time when you had to work/collaborate with another team to solve a problem.
Q: What is the most challenging project you've worked on, and walk me through how you completed it.
Had a screening phone call with the recruiter first. After that, was invited to attend the super day in Richmond, VA. It consisted of 3 interviews: behavioral, job fit and case. The case was math heavy, so I would recommend strengthening your math skills. Also cap one gives some prep material for this role so practice that.

Interview
Phone interview, then on-site. Phone was about interest in technology and some behavioral questions, and the on-site interview consisted of case, behavioral, and job fit interviews. The case involved simple math; they had a youtube video to help you prepare for that.
