The first round interview was really lovely and welcoming. I really enjoyed meeting the two people interviewing me, and they asked me questions about my experience; problem solving; admin skills; my knowledge of the industry and their company.
However, their communication was incredibly poor. I expected more from a such a prestigious company, not to mention the salary on the table was much lower than what I consider liveable in a cost of living crisis.
On multiple occasions, including after the second round task I had to complete, they told me they would ‘give me news’ by a specific date. I never received news on time, in fact I only found out what was happening after chasing them up - I then got responses at about 9pm.
After I didn’t receive an offer, I let them know that I think their communication is less than good - and I was told that they thought the timelines were ‘fine’.
It’s such a shame as Casarotto are a fantastic company, but the HR management definitely let them down and has clouded my opinion of the company going forward,
I’m now employed elsewhere on a 20% higher salary, and I have found the communication to be far better at the company I now work for.
