I’m leaving this review so other candidates can make an informed decision and avoid wasting months of their time.
From Nov 11, 2025 to Jan 15, 2026, CaseGuard put me through more than seven steps. multiple technical assessments, online proctored exams, phone screen, and a live coding interview. After dragging the process out for over two months, they rejected me with no meaningful explanation. This was one of the most disorganized and poorly run hiring processes I’ve experienced.
Key issues:
- Severe process bloat! I had endless “technical assessments” stacked on top of each other, with no clear signal of what actually mattered.
- Intrusive online assessments, required two-camera proctoring (face + hands + screen) the entire time. Excessive, stressful, and completely disproportionate for the role.
- No respect for candidate time, every interview was labeled an “initial interview,” even after multiple rounds, as if previous steps didn’t exist.
- Broken communication, they repeatedly promised follow-ups and timelines, then went silent. I had to chase them for updates they said they would send.
- Failure to follow their own plan, they outlined a process in writing and then did not adhere to it.
- Questionable interview conduct, the interviewer did not treat candidates fairly or consistently.
- Zero closure, after extracting maximum labor and time, the process ended with a generic rejection.
To be clear...I understand the job market is bad. Rejection happens. That’s not the issue. The issue is that CaseGuard did everything except hire me. Tests, surveillance-style assessments, interviews, delays, without professionalism, organization, or respect.
This company treats candidates like disposable inputs, not people. So, if you value your time, privacy, or sanity, avoid applying here. You’ve been warned.
