Interview
Sat through 3 different 1 on 1 interviews that lasted approximately an hour each. Caterpillar has a very formalized interview process. Questions were more personality based. While the questions asked by each person are very similar, they are all slightly different. I was encouraged to pull from different experiences when answering similar questions as the 3 interviewers would collaborate at the end and compare notes.

Panel interview that consisted of behavioral questions to be answered in the STAR (situation, task, action, result) format. No technical questions were asked. Felt more relaxed than other interview processes.

2 interviews then offer. First interview was mostly behavioral using the STAR method to answer questions. Second interview mix of technical and behavioral. Interviewed by panel of 3 engineers. Went deep into projects and experience on resume.

Situation, task, action, and response style questions. They provided a interview preparation sheet that detailed the exact style of questions and examples. As well as the categories that they would be evaluating the interviewees on.
