The interview went smoothly. They asked questions about different situations and how I solved them. Once the interview was over I got a job offer on the spot. The only negative thing is it took a month or more to actually start orientation.
Caterpillar uses the Star method. It stands for Situation, Task, Action, Result. I suggest studying up on it if you are unfamiliar with it. Basically, it is telling your story.

Question 1
They Sked me to describe different work situations and how I handled them
If you get through the aplication process you will be asked to sit a general knowledge test. This includes some math problems and item identification, if you pass this you'll get to a face to face with 2 or 3 interviewers who ask a series of questions. They'll want your answers in the STAR format and want you to talk yourself up. Use real life experiences to answer the questions, not what you would do if faced with the situations they're asking about. Next is the offsite medical which takes around an hour. If you get to this stage you're pretty much in.
