Certa (CA) interview questions

The interview process consisted of two technical rounds. The first round was well-structured and focused on core SDET skills such as Playwright, API testing, and basic automation concepts. I was asked to write a Page Object Model (POM) based login flow and an application-level test, which was relevant and practical. The second round, however, was quite unstructured. The interviewer shared a GitHub codebase and asked me to explain it without providing sufficient context or guidance. There was minimal interaction, and the discussion felt one-sided. When I asked questions or needed clarification, there was limited support. Toward the end, when I tried to understand the team structure and work culture, the conversation was abruptly ended. Overall the experience was not good. Note to team - Please keep experienced interviewer!

My interview experience with Certa.ai was very positive and well-structured. The process consisted of four rounds: an initial HR discussion, a technical round, a second technical round that included a product demo, and a final HR round for the offer rollout. Throughout the entire process, everything was transparent, and I received timely updates at each stage.
