This position was a transfer and thus was considered a 'lateral move'. I did not have a chance to even negotiate my salary. I simply applied, and had an interview with a manager of the area who interviewed me on my previous positions, allowing me the opportunity to elaborate on my qualifications.

Received a call from the recruiter after submitting an online application earlier that day. Went over a few details in my resume and was requested for an interview that week. Went in and met face to face with several people. I felt the interviewing process went fairly well. More detailed information on my professional background as well as my personal goals and how past employers would rate my performance.
