I applied online. I interviewed at Cincopa (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2024
Interview
Overall very strange experience. It seemed as if there was a big rush, so I gave a lot of my time with three meetings happening in sequence. First with the CEO, then a staff member, then a third meeting with the two together. The staff member was more polite/professional and asked intelligent questions. The third and final meeting ended somewhat abruptly after 30 mins or so with no mention of any next steps. I followed up via email but was ghosted and received a cold form letter rejection from Indeed. It's quite unprofessional after you've had several interviews and spent almost 3 hours together, in my opinion.
It doesn't take much just to be kind and polite and send a personal note when you're not moving forward with a candidate. That's just pretty standard and is the expected professional approach.

Question 1
The first one (w/ CEO) was short (20 mins) and seemed disorganized and awkward. There wasn't a prepared set of questions, and I had to lead the conversation. All I got from that one was that there was a rush and this role needed to be filled yesterday.
The second interview with the staff member was more typical and much longer (an hour and a half). She asked about career history and experience and shared what the needs of the company were. She was prepared, had good questions and was professional.
The third interview was more specific to the needs of the role and what the next steps would need to be. The CEO ended the meeting abruptly with no mention of "you'll hear from us next week....", "let us discuss internally and get back to you in a few days..." or anything like that. Soooo yeah. Fun times. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
