I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citadel (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2018
Interview
One phone screen with a manager who assessed my skills, fit, and gaps, and decided to fly me in for an interview. Met with the same manager, and 3 engineers. Feedback was that I told them I had a skill gap so no offer. I had established that gap in a screen and in the resume. Liked the first class flights though.
Online assessment with 3 coding questions on bfs and stacks etc.
First round on a simple coding question with some basic CS questions on top of it and also asked many CV questions and motivations
Did not proceed after this round
I had an HR screen where they asked about my experience at my previous company and to prepare for C++ to talk with the hiring manager. They asked about why I got laid off at my previous company.
Application
