I am extremely disappointed by the call I had with the recruiter.
I felt he did not listen to me since the minute we started the call and he did not understand my previous role and the similarities with my current role.
He understood that my previous role did not have anything to do with the Classpass job (which is not the case at all and actually they are quite similar, otherwise I would not have received the call).
And then when I expressed that I was not happy with the outcome of the call, he mentioned he did listen to me but that I went to the tangent as I explained my experience in my previous company but not the Class Pass knowledge I had, which is not true at all. He asked for my knowledge of ClassPass because it was really different to my previous role, so I just said that it was similar, and I explained what I was doing in my role so he could understand why it was similar to the position I was applying to. Hence not only I had to show my knowledge of Classpass but also had to deal with the lack of interest and knowledge of the recruiter towards my career. As he did not listen to me at all, this is the outcome, and I am really sorry for Classpass as you are losing great potential assets with interviews like these.
