The interview process is based on 2 telephonic screening round. After clearing the telephonic screening, the candidate is invited for 4 further rounds, in COVID times this round is happening on a video call, other wise this round is usually called the "on-site" interview round.
Details of 4 rounds:
2 rounds would be based on Amazon Leadership Principles focussing on your past work experience.
1 round is called a buyers test, where the candidate has to do pricing, projection, etc. on an excel sheet on interviewees system.
1 last round is a negotiation-based case study round.
If the overall feedback of these 4 rounds is positive, the final round is conducted called a "bar raiser". This will also be an Amazon Leadership Principles-based round. The bar raiser usually has veto power on the candidate's selection. However, the final decision is taken by the entire panel (excluding the panellists in telephonic screening).
Since most of the rounds including the telephonic screening round is based on Amazon LPs, it is advisable not to repeat the examples in the interview.
