Interview
They gave a small project for A/B testing. The project was done on jupyter and they asked for descriptions of data structures. The project had to be uploaded onto github. Afterwards, they followed up with a chat interview. They pretended to be a student who had questions.

Was done through chat as is a typical interaction, the interviewer asked numerous questions related to web development. There was a phone screen beforehand where I talked to the head of HR. After passing the interview was emailed an offer.

They will simulate a learner/advisor interaction during which you advise them on their code, and then talk about you, your relevant experiences with coding and teaching, and your values toward the end.

Interview
Quick written application followed by a 30 minute "live" test where you had to act as an advisor to a "student" (played by one of the HR people) at Codecademy. During this test you had to provide advice to the "student" and help him with any code issues he had. After this the HR person followed up with a phone call.
