1st round, with iOS lead, got asked basic questions, answered all of them, got selected (One of my friends had previously given this round, he answered all of them as well, but got rejected)
2nd round On bar raiser got DSA plus ios basics
3rd round take-home assignment(Integrate their SDK in a sample project, but keep the architecture Modular). Got it on Friday. Was asked to give it in by next Thursday. But Finished it over the weekend and submitted it on Sunday. I got it reviewed by 2 AI (Cursor and Codex)(Updated according to both their responses). Post submitting And mailing it got it by fellow iOS devs as well, they also said this is correct.
4th Round(Monday): Got A behavioural round, answered all the questions. Didn't seem to miss any points. The flow seemed proper
Round 3.5(Tuesday): Got asked to provide access to another person for review, and gave him the access(his email had @cometchat in it)(Searched his name on LinkedIn, but found a person, but his LinkedIn said he was working with another company). He took 2 weeks to review the base code that I had written in 2 days. I understand that you might have a release, but 2 weeks is a bit too much.
Post that got a call from HR giving 2 reasons that they are not moving forward because of the interview and code. I dont know what they mean by Code that you were able to find it. Alos that had said that the code was basic, Like bro what do you mean basic You need to stichj to the sheet you have given me use proints from there. If there is something thgat is not there in the code asked in the Assignment, then we can talk, saying things like basic, just make it seem that you are having some hidden condition that you don't tell, and I am expected to know that.
2nd reason they gave me was that they are having budget problems. Like bro, you just received funding 3 months ago, and why are you having a budget problem when I am asking something that was previously discussed?
I don't know what they are doing, but if you get rejected, don't feel down; they are sending their mass email and using every platform, which seems like they want to hire, but this interview says differently.
Final say, if you get an interview, give it, just don't expect anything from here.
