Application
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Con Edison in Nov 2022
Interview
It seemed a bit unprofessional, it was an unprompted phone call, and was asked for a quick interview, which took about 8 minutes. It was very unorganized in how things were moving as the next day "somebody with technical experience would call you." That call took about ~10 minutes, and it seemed as though that person did not want to do it, but was forced to conduct the interview. At the end of that call, was told HR would contact me for the following steps. I followed up within 2 weeks since I heard nothing, and saw they opened my e-mail from a third-party application. Found out they basically ghosted me through that. Speaking to current employees at Con Edison, I also have the feeling everything is unorganized so this was the silver lining.
