Interviewed with the Chief PA, was told over the phone I would met with the medical director the same day. She was okay, understood my unique circumstance. However, next day received the rudest most unprofessional call from her. I was still contractually bind to my current position and working per diem elsewhere and when I told her my availability to come back again to meet with the medical director was limited she irritatingly ask me if I want the job or not and then proceeded to hang up on me when I told her I was receiving a call a patient had arrived. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful- if she is short-tempered even before a second interview, I can’t imagine how she would be like to work with. Did not go forward with second interview because awful impression left by her.

The Interviewer was very nice. However, when I mentioned that I was a Sabbath Observer and could not work Friday Evenings and Saturdays, I was flat out turned down for the position, and was told that that was the reason by the interviewer. The position was a flex position and there were five other spots available in that same department, enough positions that it was possible to accommodate me if they chose to. It is amazing that in today's day and age, such discrimination is present. I was told to sue. But who wants to work in an environment that one has to sue to work there. I sure don't.
