I applied through other source. I interviewed at ConnectWise (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Starts with a technical phone call and then proceeds on to coding project. Interviewer had very little manners and right from the second I answer the phone starts throwing out technical questions without even introducing himself or asking me how my day was. It was very robotic and almost inhuman.
The worst part if they make you do another one of these stupid brain-teaser coding projects. Mine was a maze coding project. I whipped out the project which fulfilled all the criteria and it was a headache of a process. Then, after writing them the test project, the hiring manager sends me an email saying "No Thanks" without any explanation of the problem of what about the project. They basically make you bend over backward and devote time to the project. They have unrealistic expectations as well as to the quality of a software project they are looking and as usual give you very vague criteria as to what they want. It is extremely annoying.
Please, I beg other developers not to waste their time with these ludicrous software projects such as the one ConnectWise expects you to complete. You can even succeed and fulfill all the so-call demands and they will simply deny you because you didn't put a good 2 days of work into it , even though they say it should just be done in an hour. They will give you no explanation or answer as to why they were not happy, which could be valuable information.
This is what I would call a soul sucking company which has no value or care for their human beings who work for them. You basically are just a robot without a soul who will just follow out orders and is easily expendable. They came to me as I did not even apply to this company. This company has absolutely no respect or care for the prospective developers and thinks they can slap around their prospective applicants and treat them like garbage.
The hiring manager should be fired alone for how unprofessional, poorly executed and how vague and complicated the tasks they make prospective applications. From reading the reviews of the company, it seems they pretty much screw their engineers at it shows very much in their hiring process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Write a program that finds coffee machine in an office.
There are total 3 rounds but here is a catch - interview will be taken by flocareer which hires most unprofessional interviewers with zero manners
Interview was done via flocareer - interviewer joined late and started asking questions not relevant to the tech stack!

I successfully cleared two technical rounds, each lasting one hour and focused on coding/technical questions. However, the managerial round was an extremely stressful experience. The interviewer was consistently rude and dismissive throughout the discussion. She disagreed with almost every point made, regardless of its validity, and her approach was highly demotivating. At times, she made discouraging remarks that felt intentionally demotivating, which added to the pressure and created a hostile environment for the candidate.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at ConnectWise (Mumbai) in Sep 2024
Interview
This took 1 week to schedule interview, they first take first interview from outsource interviewer, interviewer was asking irrelevant questions which was not belonging to my profile and was judging on that.
