Presentation Option 2: Consultant Connect allows clinicians to seek rapid advice and guidance from a specialist via the phone and, for some specialties, via messages (and photos) to support them during their clinical decision making, ensuring best care for patients. One of the accounts you manage at Consultant Connect has recently launched a ‘Diabetes & Endocrinology’ line, answered by consultants in the local hospital. The line is accessible to all GPs in the local CCG. Unfortunately, calls to the line have been minimal and the Diabetes & Endocrinology team have stated they would like to remove the service from Consultant Connect unless the call volumes increase promptly. Task: What steps would you take in order to increase the volume of calls to the Diabetes & Endocrinology line?
