I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Covidien (Prague) in Dec 2012
Interview
I found the whole recruitment process to be intense and challenging but rewarding at the same time.
I was pleasantly surprised by the professional approach of the recruiters and hiring manager, the logistics/organization were very good (giving the fact that I had to travel from a foreign country to Prague for the face2face interviewing), the interview rounds were tough but interesting and fun at the same time and the outcome of the entire process has been gratifying.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Covidien in Dec 2011
Interview
The interview process was somewhat informal. 4 different people including the hiring manager and future colleagues conducted interviews. The questions did not seem to follow any particular pattern, but were more conversational and impromptu. There was a focus on providing proof of analytical ability using Excel, Access, and other analytics software.
