The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Benbrook, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
Overall I was not impressed. At my local Cracker Barrel, I applied to work as a waitress and a cashier. When I was called in for an interview, I was under the assumption I was being interviewed for a waitress position, when I was actually being interviewed to be a cashier. After a 30 minute interview of me going on about my waitress skills, the manager gave me my list of duties as a cashier (it was thoroughly embarrassing on my end) I talked with another manager about a uniform, and I never heard back from them again.

Name one time in a previous job where you resolved a conflict with a customer, and they left the feeling better than when they came in.
I was interviewed recently for getting rehired and it was lovely. Management really has my back here. I am glad to be back. I thoroughly enjoy working where I feel heard and understood.
Very fast and easy, asked very straight forward questions. Everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend anyone that has food industry experience to apply. They respond very quickly to applications as well.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Greensboro, NC) in Feb 2024
Interview
Fairly easy. No background or drug testing because there is high turnover. They did make me wait for an hour just to be interviewed and it wasn't busy. It lasted all of ten minutes and I got the job.
