    Connected with GM through LinkedIn. First Interview with GM and HR. Valued my drive (90 miles) and brought second team into meet me same day. I then met with Customer Focus team leaders and one of the planners I would supervise. We talked about the climate and culture of the company. I was told that chemistry and culture were most important and that technicals skills could be taught.

    A phone interview was conducted by HR first. She just asked general questions about experience, position, salary etc. Then around two weeks later an on-site interview was arranged. The interview was held by three members from the engineering team. Lots of questions about working experiece, background, technical skills, etc.

    Interview

    Phone interview with HR, she was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She was very passionate about the company. Scheduled a follow up interview on the spot.

    Had 3 interviews in person. My second and third were back to back so that was nice and convenient. These interviews were a mix of asking about past experiences and technical questions. Needed to explain in depth regarding how I implemented test programs at all different stages. Few questions on how I interact with other (internal and external customers) . Everyone I met with was very knowledgeable.

    I didn’t receive an offer but I was informed along the way and lost out to a candidate with more relevant experience in the industry. It was nice to hear the reasons why, made it easier to swallow not landing the role.

    Although I was kept in the loop, there was a delay from when my interviews ended and the final decision was made.
