I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crux OCM in Nov 2025
Interview
Starts with a quick 30 minute phone screen. If you pass the phone screen, there's a relatively simple online assessment (leetcode easy). Did not proceed to the next stage as a candidate was already chosen by the time I completed the assessment.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crux OCM (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2024
Interview
The whole interview process consisted of several steps:
1. Coding test.
2. System design interview.
3. Leadership Principles / LLD Interview.
4. Panel Presentation.
5. Casual tell me about yourself interview.
I had an online interview process that began with a brief phone call with HR. The following week, I was invited to a 45-minute technical interview, which went well. After that, I was given an assignment to design a low-pass filter for a signal. I completed the task in both Matlab and Python and created a detailed document, which I presented during the interview. The interview went smoothly, and I was optimistic about moving forward.
However, six days later, I received an email stating that they were looking for someone with more experience. It’s surprising that they didn’t realize this sooner, given that my experience level was clear from my CV.
Additionally, one of the team members contacted my current employer without my consent, which was a major red flag and put me in an awkward position at work.
Overall, I would recommend steering clear of this company.
