It was horrible experience, one of the interviewers titled senior solutions architect was really rude and he couldn't believe that I have this much of education and started to be suspicious and asking how you did this diploma online while the internet speed at that time was 1mb, and why you chose to do the certificate from USA while it is available in Ireland,..etc
My answers
1- It was blended course and self paced within time period. So download videos and then do the practice.
2- at the time of the diploma there was no similar course in Ireland. But he still suspicious.
After 12 days the recruiter sent me an email saying your interview outcome is positive and asking me if am still interested and available, Replied yes. He told he will come back with the next steps.
Then in a week he sent another email saying I got feedback from the manager asking when are you available to speak.
I prepared myself to hear the offer. But instead he told me that they are not going forward!!!
Then he tried to explain his previous email what he meant by positive and put it on me that I got it wrong.
Advice:
1- The interview outcome is either positive or negative nothing in between. THEN: the feedback if you want to provide it.
2- Don't play with people emotions specifically in desperate times.
3- there are millions of templates out there that can help you on how to communicate with candidates.
4- dont make judgement because things seems too much to you, background checks are designed to cover these things.
