Phone screen, hiring manager, then mock discovery call. If you’re going to do a screening test (and I wish people wouldn’t) the mock discovery call is a good way to do them. They gave me some cursor credits to use to build demo apps etc which was cool.
But the unforgivable thing was a boilerplate ‘thanks but no thanks’ email after I spent 8 hours studying for the screening test and I know it went pretty well. I asked for more feedback but never even got a reply. Hugely disrespectful.
