I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DLR Group (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2021
Interview
Standard Interview w project manager and a lead designer. I also transferred locations, and there was an internal interview with who was to be my new direct lead and a member of HR. Both processes were smooth, timely, and direct (while still friendly).

Question 1
Also typical; strengths and weaknesses, experience and highlights from record, goals for the future. I was told to prepare for giving an excerpt from my portfolio, but that didn’t occur in either scenario.
Very thorough, I appreciated the opportunity to connect with current team members. They had three interviews, one with HR, one with the Manager and the last with the team. The last was the most informal but probably the most helpful.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at DLR Group in Sep 2022
Interview
Two interview, both via zoom. First one with senior designer, and 2nd one is a group call. With lead of different department that they consider you might be a good fit. I think there is more than two interview, but I got other offer come in so did not go though the whole process. The time between two interview was more than three weeks.
The interview was online and lasted for 30 mins. It was easy-going and laid back. The questions were the most common ones and were expected to have been asked. Nothing out of the blue.
