Applied for the Property Portfolio Strategist role. Was asked to complete a 40-minute TestGorilla assessment including formal logic puzzles and timed problem-solving tests before any human interaction. The assessment also records you via webcam throughout. For a buyers agency role that's fundamentally about relationships and property knowledge, this feels like a lazy screening process that tells you nothing about whether someone can actually do the job. Wouldn't recommend investing your time.

Interview
I made it to the first round of a phone call interview after their gorilla test. The interviewer was lovely, I enjoyed speaking with her. However, they didn’t inform the outcome of the phone interview until I followed up 2 weeks later. I was giving them the benefit of doubt as there were 2 public holidays in between but from the way I was informed about the outcome, it seemed like they had already decided not to move forward with my progress ages ago. I just wished they had informed me the outcome of my interview in a timely manner as the same time they had made a decision of my application. Understandable that the role I applied for received an overwhelming number of applications, but honestly they could have handled it better
