I feel like this company was not respectful of my time and efforts during the recruitment process.
After 5 interviews (+ 1 preparation call with the recruiter), a "home task", involving researching a company and a target persona, preparations to pass the mock call (in which I did better than most candidate - according to the interviewer) and the recording of a prospecting video, my application was rejected. I spent over a month in this lenghty and gruesome process just to hear "that last person you talked to didn't feel like you wanted the job enough".
After all the tasks completed and the various rounds of interviews, this kind of feedback is unacceptable. Especially for an entry-level role. Companies like Deel, need to remember we are not on payroll when we are applying, and this time candidate dedicate to their application, should be respected. The last two interviews, for instance, could have easily been merged into one, since I basically had to repeat the same information to different people. And there was no need to make me wait a week between each round.
This company simply seems to interview too many people, to find their perfect unicorn, wasting many people's time in the process.
