Dollar Bank Interview Questions

Easy relaxed phone call to start . Asked some basic screening questions to see if I qualified. Asked about availability on the weekends and nights and willingness to work with a team.

Applied, received a call from HR within a week for a phone screening. Then an in person interview was scheduled with department managers. Heard back within 1 week of interview.

Talked to recruiter first over telephone. Then met with branch manager in the branch office. More conversational than I expected. Asked basic questions—prior job experience, customer service, cash handling, etc.

GHOSTED. Contacted by HR after applying. Passed screening interview, interviewed a week later by hiring manager. That was 70 days ago. Wrote thank you email, then another follow-up 2 weeks later. Then radio silence.

Five or more interviews. Just for a lowball offer. It wasn't worth they claimed, I spent most of my time playing phone tag with HR. I wouldn't recommend. To anyone I know. They need to improve this process.

The entire process went smoothly. I did a phone screening with Shawn Oct 6 and was sent the Microsoft word and excel test, passed the test moved onto interview 1 on Oct 7 via zoom with Shawn and on oct 8 in person interview with Kim. Oct 13 I was offered a job. A little over a month later I started. Nov 15th.

I was first phone screened by HR and then had an interview within a week. I did not get hired for the first two positions I interviewed, but HR worked with me to find additional positions to apply at the company.

Had a call over the phone and then a meeting with HR, and then the branch manager. Everything happened rather quickly and was scheduled via email. I learned a lot about the company through each step.

The interview process was quick and concise even in the thick of COVID. I had one interview and option of my start date. For the first few months I worked every other week and still received full pay.

There was an Excel test before the interview, 20 min and 30 questions; not hard for most questions, but very tricky and challenging for the last few questions. Then if you pass the test, you will need 2 interview with both HR manager and the department managers. Most are behavior questions.
