I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at DoorDash (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Started with phone screen with a recruiter who reached out to me on Linkedin. Then, product exercise: They asked how to improve a B2C company’s user experience. They expect me to start with problem discovery, then propose solutions, and clearly define success metrics to measure impact.
Had a call with the recruiter, then product prioritization round (screen interview). They were looking for defining metrics, users, mapping user journey, identifying and prioritizing pain points and proposing solutions
Recruiter screen, a product prioritization case, and an onsite. Review marketplace companies, and how to improve product usage experiences - these will be tested in the cases. Rest of the interviews are standard behavioral, very close to the document sent by the recruiter
Really thorough and standard process to get to know you and how you think. Several rounds with different stakeholders in the company; then round robins with different people to measure your product sense
