      I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash in Aug 2021

      Interview

      First round was a quick recruiter screen. The recruiter really sold me on the young startup type culture. It did seem like a great opportunity at first. Second round was a case study that they give you 48 hours to complete. Not much direction. They let you choose when you want to start it, but they pressure you to get it done ASAP by saying there are candidates late in the process so you should do it right away. It was obvious this was not true. Third round is an hour interview with the hiring manager and the head of the team. The questions weren't really too challenging, behavioral and a basic case study. The recruiter reached out a few days later with a generic email that they are not advancing me in the interview process and it's their policy not to give feedback. I thought this was extremely impersonal and a slap in the face after asking me to rush the case study (which I spent multiple hours of my time on). The recruiter also asked me to add her on LinkedIn in case they find a role for me in the future. Moral of the story: make sure you really want to work for DoorDash before committing all this time to the interview process. It's very frustrating to get a generic rejection message with no feedback after putting in multiple hours into the case study and then interview prep. For this reason, I would not work for this company. In this job market, I would recommend all my colleagues to apply for companies that respect you and the time invested into interviewing with them.....unlike DoorDash.
