After successfully clearing all technical rounds—where I had the pleasure of speaking with some truly fantastic interviewers—I was invited to what was described as a “meet and greet” with the CIO, Rob Corti. However, this was anything but that.
From the moment I stepped into the room, the atmosphere was hostile. This CIO is absurdly thin-skinned, taking offense at even the most straightforward questions. His responses were nothing more than evasive, meaningless drivel, providing zero insight into the firm. To make matters worse, he seemed to expect me to have extensive knowledge of his background—yet the company’s own website returns a blank page when trying to access his profile.
It became clear that this was not a casual conversation but another undisclosed interview—something my recruiter failed to mention. Then, after this awful experience, the recruiters pressured me to say I would accept an offer, only to later turn around and tell me I wouldn’t be receiving one.
While the technical interviewers were great, this process was misleading, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. I strongly advise against engaging with this company.
