I applied for a job at Dubai Holding, and it took exactly one month from my application to receiving the first contact, which was a phone call. After that, I had to wait two more weeks before receiving feedback and an invitation for the first face-to-face interview.
The interview process itself was poorly managed. I had one interview with two managers: the HR Director and an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director was late, and the HR Director started the interview without them. When the Assistant Director finally arrived, they asked only one question and that was it.
Since then, it has been two months and I haven’t heard anything. I followed up twice, but received no response.
Honestly, this was a terrible candidate experience, especially disappointing coming from a company where Talent Acquisition should understand the importance of timely and respectful communication.
