They changed the job description right before inviting me to an on-site interview, changing it to say 3+ years of experience were needed, which I didn’t have and thought was strange but went to the interview anyway. Was told they would be in touch but didn’t receive a response for 2 weeks and my follow-ups were ignored. Genuinely such an unprofessional experience from start to finish. I wasn’t expecting this from DRCC.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2025
Interview
3 step interview process
1 Interview - over 1 hour of Q&A about my experience, how I would cope working there, situational questions.
Called back after 1 day to invite to second interview.
2 Round Interview - Presentation to show competency, included design aspects for socials, event planning, strategy management. Followed by Q&A as well as more questions about coping, managing stress and situational questions. Interview around 1.5 hours.
Invited back to final interview after a week.
3 round (final) - Met with CEO only, no HR present for final chat about the role, my experience and what it may be like to work there. Felt a little informal but was still around 40 minutes long.
I was emailed after a week to tell me that I was great but they were going to hire an agency instead.
The full process took almost 4 weeks.
