    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DvF (Scottsdale, AZ) in July 2017.

    Interview

The interview was more like a conversation between two people genuinely trying to get to know one another. We went straight into my resume and discussing my previous job, then we talked more in depth about the position and the brand.

    Stylist Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DvF (New York, NY) in February 2017.

    Interview

Submitted online application, invited for interview. Turned out to be an interview held in the lobby with other candidates, the interviewer was more concerned with telling us how important she was and didn't seem remotely interested in actually interviewing for a job. I'd heard that DVF in NYC have massive egos and are all a bit 'snooty' this turned out to be entirely true. The worst part was that after everything they don't even have the curtesy to thank you for your time and tell you you have been unsuccessful - very poor.

    Interview

It was pretty easy. I was a little nervous at first and the receptionist were so nice. Once I got upstairs to interview I was asked to run through my resume. The process only took 10 minutes all together. I was shocked at how fast it went.

    Store Manager Interview

    Interview

I was appalled by the attitude and cattiness of the Director of Stores when I interviewed with her. My experience with her was not representative of the company in a professional way. Throughout the interview, she asked several questions about my responses that had indicated she was not truly listening to what I had to say. When she asked if I had any questions for her, I asked about her background, and responded with, "You're not the one interviewing me." I will say the experience has certainly put a sour taste in my mouth, and I will no longer be patronizing the brand if this is the kind of woman and human being they are hiring. Women should support each other in business, not feel threatened by another.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at DvF (New York, NY).

    Interview

We met briefly, only about 20 minutes. Walked them through my resume and asked a few questions about the position. I did the majority of the talking but that seems to be how most internship interviews are, they want to get a good sense of you as a person. We spoke about my experience and how it would translate over to DVF.
