I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest) in Feb 2012
Interview
The process was very straightforward and easy. Since this was a new position and department in the company, the hiring process wasn't very hard, got interviewed by the frontend guys asking general questions regarding UX design. This may have been changed since, because back then it was only a competence starting to build up.
EPAM has contacted me 3 times!!! And none interviews were successful, I understand that I may not be a fit for the company, but ran 3 interviews, technical tests and more is a waste of time for me and for the recruiters!

Question 1

Phone call 1st stage - internal recruiter interview. Video call 2nd stage - head of dept interview. Video call 3rd stage - VP of dept interview
Interviews were comfortable with no set tasks, just portfolio showcasing and competency questions.

Question 1
Take us through how you lead the user experience from a holistic point of view. starting with the service design, research and so on.
I applied online. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest) in Feb 2021
Interview
First a prescreening interview with HR, then with a wider audience of Lead UXers managers and their director.
During the second round I hardly could speak because one of the interviewers spoke so much about his way of thinking about the design field, and his phone chimed all the time, getting messages. I find this disrespectful.
Now, two months later I can be sure I was ghosted, as I was promised a response a few days later they never got back to me.
