    The Interview process was very well structured and friendly. The collaboration with ETH Zurich worked impressively well such that paper work was reduced to a minimum. The instructions on how to get different regustration forms and meeting times were clear and easy to find. The the interviewers were friendly and were focused on the skills. All in all a very good experience.

    A phone followed by a skype interview. Prof phoned me from Switzerland, and I was in Singapore. The next day, we had a quick skype interview, and I was accepted!

    Spontaneous application. Sent email with CV and cover letter to the Principal Investigator and only got a reply 2 months later (and after a reminder). Then it took 2 months to arrange an interview and I started working another 2 months later. The entire process took 6 months and I was ready to start straight away.

    There was never a technical interview. Everything was fairly straight-forward.
    I contacted a bunch of doctoral students in-person until I found out about an opportunity.

    They proposed a project to me and I accepted.
    In order to join a lab, it is required that you have been admitted into the doctoral program.
