First round I got on interview call with the hiring manager. He was very nice, polite and knows what he is talking about. He told me about his past experience and right away I understood why he is very knowledgeable.
The second round I went onsite, met with their two network engineers, the manager was not on the technical interview. It was a disaster. They started by bringing diagram after another as if it was an exam more than asking about work and experience. They got scenarios from CISCO CCNA test, and scenarios from their network. The interview was so dumb that I decided to skip answering the questions. Why, because I don't want to drag myself working with people who don't even know how to do a proper technical interview. I am coming from a huge corporate background. Built a multi million data centers, already holding multiple CCIE certificates and you're asking me how a switch work??!!!
My advise to anyone who finds himself in such an interview to apologize about continuing the interview and leave. This is a very bad indication about the intelligence level on the team and you don't want to be the smartest one on the team.
