I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Earlybird (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter supporting Early Bird AI who shared the role with me. We had some back and forth and they asked for a CV and we had a screening interview chat. The recruiter was open, responsive, supportive and did more to support me and EarlyBird.AI, from my perspective, than I have experienced from recruiters previously. After the recruiter call, they wrote notes to the founder who said they wanted to meet me. We had an interview call together online.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Earlybird in Dec 2025
Interview
I had an initial chat with the COO covering my background and experience, and learning more about the role. This was followed by a 90 minute technical interview with the COO and CTO. The process was friendly and informal.

I was initially interviewed by the COO, who was lovely and approachable, helped guide me through the interview process.
