Interview
I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer position at Edra Labs. Based on my experience, the company appears to be operating as an idea incubation or experimentation setup without any clearly defined product.
What concerned me most was that, despite being established for a while, there does not seem to be a publicly launched product or clear roadmap. During the interview, much of the discussion revolved around understanding how other companies operate, what problems they are solving, and how certain systems are built.
The technical evaluation itself focused on very basic CS fundamentals (HTTP request body, DNS, etc.), which felt misaligned for a senior-level role. There was limited discussion on system design, architecture, scaling challenges, or ownership - which are typically expected at this level.
The overall experience gave me the impression that the process was more exploratory - possibly to gather perspectives and ideas - rather than a structured hiring process for a defined product team.
